Common questions

How much does it cost to play?+

$550 per individual player, $3,275 per team.

When does the season start and end?+

The 2027 Sawmill Baseball League season opens on Saturday, June 12. The eight-week regular season runs through July 31, followed by championship tournament weekends on August 7–8 and August 14–15. The season concludes on August 15.

What equipment does my player need?+

[PENDING] — typically a glove, cleats, and a batting helmet. Team jerseys and hats are provided.

Why wood bats instead of aluminum?+

Wood bats build honest swings and a more natural feel for the ball. See the About page for our full reasoning.

What is your refund policy?+

How many games will my player get?+

Do you need volunteers?+

Is this a travel or showcase league?+

No. Sawmill is a developmental, community summer league — not a travel or showcase program.

Can my player join without a full team?+

Yes — individual player registration is available and we'll place your player on a roster. See the Registration page.
